The Renegades did not have far to travel when North Coquitlam Mayhem hosted them at Charles Best Secondary. Both teams were looking for a win and a chance at moving on in Cup play.

North Coquitlam beat the Renegades to the ball for the first 20 minutes to keep the play in the Renegades end.

In the 31st minute, Renegades keeper Chelsea Fogliato used her head to stop a Mayhem chance.

In the 40th minute, the Mayhem were forced to make a dangerous clearance for a corner.

But, the first half ended scoreless.

In the 62nd minute, a rebound was put wide after a shot by midfielder Meaghann Beeskau was mishandled by the Mayhem keeper.

A corner by Kim McFarlane in the 78th minute was knocked off the crossbar by Giuliana Obregon.

And the second half ended scoreless as well. But, it was the Renegades who controlled the final 20 minutes.

On to the shootout. Which would only count if the teams were tied after round robin play. Which was impossible.
