The weather was a little unsettled for a Remembrance Day road game in Chilliwack. There was snow on the hills, rain on the bleachers, and sunshine in the sky. ![]() ![]() ![]() Chilliwack got on the scoreboard in the 17th minute and had another chance here in the 20th minute. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Renegades keeper, Chelsea Fogliato, was injured in this challenge on a Chilliwack forward. ![]() Defenders Mariah Flesher and April Davis kept the ball out of the net while their keeper was down. ![]() ![]() ![]() At half time the the home side led 1-nil due mainly to a physical style of play that the Renegades have not seen this year. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Renegades celebrated when Giuliana Obregon tied the game in the 43rd minute. ![]() The Attack attempted the same set play as the start of the half on the ensuing kickoff. It was unsuccessful again. ![]() But 3 minutes later they did have cause to celebrate. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Renegades had several corners but were unable to convert. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Attack forward Voitic made a nice run to score in the 74th minute. ![]() Renegades forward Kathy Negahdar put one across the face of goal in the 79th minute. ![]() Chilliwack added one more goal in extra time to make the final 4-1. The Renegades do not have time to dwell on their first loss of the season as Cup Play is Saturday. |
