Port Moody Renegades

Port Moody had Abbotsford in their sights to take an undefeated record into cup play.

Gloria Manzardo drew first blood in the 7th minute.

Renegades keeper, Chelsea Fogliato, dodged a bullet with a diving save in the 13th minute.

Center midfielder Giuliana Obregon aimed high in the 19th minute.

The Storm goal keeper came out with a strong challenge on Renegades forward Lindsay Rupar.

Only to have the ball go to Meaghann Beeskau for an easy kill in the 29th minute.

Forward Ally Mandley notched the Renegades' 3rd goal of the game in the 32nd minute.

Obregon aimed wide in the 35th minute.

Mandley tested the Storm keeper at close range in stoppage time.

Obregon finally dialled in the sights to end the first half at 4-0.

So, the Renegades took mercy on the Storm in the second half with only one goal from Erina Cho in the 49th minute. Next week, cup play begins!
