The forecasted rain arrived as the Renegades met the SFC Rage. And then, in the 14th minute, the wind grabbed the photographer's umbrella just as Gloria Manzardo opened the scoring.

In the 19th minute of the game, the photographer was fiddling with camera settings to offset the increasing gloom as Erina Cho increased the Renegade lead to 2 goals.

The teams continued to trade chances, with Surrey hitting the bar in the 31st minute.

The first half ended amidst confusion as players were unsure if the ball was still in play. It was. Hand ball. Indirect free kick. Should have been from the six.

After 40 minutes of wind and rain, the Renegades were leading 2-0 and needed a hot drink.

In the 46th minute, Kathy Negahdar dribbled the ball past the defenders, around the keeper, and into the net to make the score 3-0 for the Renegades.

At the 60 minute mark, midfielder Meaghann Beeskau hit the post.

And the rebound came to forward Lindsay Rupar.

Who slid it across to outside midfielder Gloria Manzardo.

Who celebrated her second goal of the game.

A gust of wind in the 69th minute prevented a recording of Ally Mandley's goal. So a shot of this chance in the 71st minute will have to stand in.

And to close out the scoring, a goal for the Rage in the 76th minute to make it 5-1.
